Test Kit Lube Oil Check 6

The TEST KIT LUBE OIL CHECK 6 is intended for the wide range of oil tests to be conducted easily and quickly on-site in order to assess whether the essential parameters of various oil types meet operational specifications of engine systems or not. The extended test kit covers six different tests including determination of water in oil, Base Number, go/no go viscosity indicator, salt water contamination, soot contamination and the falling ball principle for measuring viscosity. The equipment enables effective condition monitoring on a regular basis.

Parameters to measure

Water in oil:

• Measuring range: 0 – 1.0 vol. % H₂O
• Measuring time: up to 20 min.
• Accuracy: ± 3%

Base Number:

• Measuring range: 0 – 100 BN
• Measuring time: up to 20 min.
• Accuracy: ± 1 BN

Oil viscosity:

• Measuring range: max. lube oil
• Measuring time: about 3 min.

Salt water contamination:

• Measuring range: go / no go
• Measuring time: about 10 min.

Spot test:

• Measuring range: all lube oils
• Measuring time: about 1 min.

Falling ball viscosity test:

• Measuring range: STANDARD VIS 10 – 999 mm²/s or and LOW VIS 1 – 10 mm²/s
• Measuring time: about 5 min.
• Accuracy: ± 3%

TEST KIT LUBE OIL CHECK 6 is provided in a sturdy briefcase of 58 x 40 x 26 cm.
