ANTIFOAM S-30 is a water-soluble antifoam agent based on a 30% active silicone emulsion.
It controls foaming and can be used in sewage, wastewater systems or areas in pressurised systems.
ANTIFOAM S-30 can be used to remove foam in water-based product and collecting tanks or vacuum toilet systems.
Our product has a higher efficiency and can be used over a wider temperature and pH range than conventional polydimethyl siloxane antifoam agents.
ANTIFOAM S-30 has been carefully formulated for optimal stability, especially at high temperatures, in order to avoid siloxane precipitation. The selected emulsion particle size ensures an optimal defoaming effect and prevents foam build-up.
ANTIFOAM S-30 is safe for personnel and the environment. It is phosphate-free, 100% biodegradable, non-fuming, safe on skin and safe and easy to store.
Directions for use
ANTIFOAM S-30 can be applied undiluted in cold water, because it will still properly disperse.
Before adding it under unfavourable conditions (e.g. very cold water and/or little agitation), it should be diluted with softened or demineralised water for optimal efficiency. It is advisable to do so by a factor of at least 4.
In sewage systems we recommend 1 part of ANTIFOAM S-30 with 5 parts of fresh water and pump this into the EVAC ejector tank. The dosage is done ½ hour before top load.
Before ANTIFOAM S-30 is added to hot systems, it should always be diluted.
If a dilution is not used within 24 hours, it may be necessary to thoroughly mix it before use. In most cases, a dosage of 50 ppm of ANTIFOAM S-30 will be sufficient.
VOLUNTARY VECOM MARINE RECOMMENDATION
In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children.
ANTIFOAM S-30 is usually available in plastic cans of 20 l.
